OCSO: Wanted Thieves Stole Work Van, Trailer and Fuel

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO) – The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office has released surveillance video in hopes that someone will recognize two suspects who broke into multiple vehicles and stole a work truck.

Investigators say an employee at Site Prep called 911 around 3 a.m. on April 18 to report a work van equipped with GPS was moving.

Deputies spotted the white work van on Shillings Bridge Road, but the suspects drove the stolen van down a side road, crashed it into a chain linked fence and fled the area, investigators say.

The suspects were seen on surveillance just before 11 p.m. Monday, stealing the van and breaking into several vehicles.

The suspects also allegedly stole a large quantity of fuel.

Investigators say the van was also used to steal a utility trailer, which has been recovered.

If anyone has any information of the subjects, they are asked to call the OCSO at 803-534-3550.

To receive up to $1000 for information about the crime or if you know the identity of the suspects, citizens are encouraged to contact CRIMESTOPPERS in any of the following ways: call 888-CRIME-SC (888-274-6372), text to CRIMES (274637), and mark the beginning of the message with “TIPSC,” followed by the tip information or go to: www.midlandscrimestoppers.com, and click on the “Submit a tip” tab.
