USC holds players-only meeting ahead of Arkansas game Tuesday

COLUMBIA, S.C. — South Carolina concludes a two-game conference road swing on Tuesday when it travels to Arkansas to face the Razorbacks at Bud Walton Arena (7 p.m. ET/ESPN2).

The Gamecocks have lost three-straight games and face a must-win situation in Fayetteville Tuesday night, so USC players called a players-only meeting Sunday, one day after losing on the road to Texas A&M by 23 points.

Frank Martin though says he’s an “action” guy.

“They can have 97 player meetings, talk all you want,” said Martin Monday. “If you don’t play better, those meetings are irrelevant.”
