Event Description

An Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration will be held on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, Nov. 18, at the Community Hall on the Square in downtown Newberry to share "thankfulness" as expressed through five different religions: Baha'i, Christianity, Islam, Native American and Unitarian Universalist. Admission is free to the 4-5 p.m. event and refreshments will be served. The location is handicap-accessible and the event is sponsored by Clayton Memorial Unitarian Universalist Church and the Interfaith Partners of Newberry County.
