Event Description

COLUMBIA S.C. – The retail 388 class of USC’s College of Hospitality, Retail and Sports Management is having their annual fashion show on Sunday, December 2 at 5 p.m. located at The McCutchen House.

The student produced event will focus on the fashion trends of one of the most fashion forward cities in the world, New York City. The show will emphasize the distinct characteristics of each of the five boroughs with participation from various local boutiques, student designers and their very first corporate retailor.

The show will be held at McCutchen house this year and the students have revamped the space to appear as a New York City Subway, renaming it The Sumter Station. This year the theme is all about New York and how fashion has a trickle-down effect to the south. The demand for this year’s show has been unbelievable, as tickets are complementary and students will also host a short networking session at the end of the show. The McCutchen house is located at 920 Sumter St. Columbia, S.C. 29201

More amazingly this year’s show was produced with absolutely no budget and no charitable sponsor backing. The students relied heavily on the donors, charitable contributions of personal contacts and their local community. Tickets are available at the door or by contacting any Retail 388 student.
