Event Description

Troopers from the SC Department of Public Safety will be stationed at designated SUBWAY® restaurants for W8 2 TXT Wednesdays from 4 to 7 p.m. in support of National Distracted Driving Awareness Month in April and to offer hands-on demonstrations about the dangers of distracted driving.
At W8 2 TXT Wednesdays, drivers can participate in an eye-opening golf cart safe driving demo with a Trooper. Free 6-inch subs will be provided for the first 25 people and reminder wristbands with the W8 2 TXT message will be available, while supplies last. The events are free and open to the public. Teens and parents especially are encouraged to drop by to learn more about safe driving.
W8 2 TXT Wednesdays are scheduled:
April 10 – 4 to 7 p.m. at SUBWAY® restaurant, Highway 378 & Charter Oak Road, Publix Shopping Center, Lexington
April 17 – 4 to 7 p.m. at SUBWAY® restaurant, 2236 Airport Blvd., Beacon Hill Block Shopping Center, next to Lizard’s Thicket, West Columbia
