Event Description

At the Heritage, we understand that caring for persons with Alzheimer’s or related memory concerns can be stressful.

Join the experts on June 13th for an all-day Symposium to learn how the disease impacts the individual; tips for improved communication and managing various behaviors; available community resources; how to plan before a crisis hits; and whether or not an individual with the disease is safe to drive.

Speakers include David Johnson, MD, Palmetto Senior Care; Vivian Moore, LMSW, Senior Primary Care Practice; Andrea Jeffcoat, Palmetto Senior Care; Sam Wiley, Alzheimer’s Association SC Chapter; Margaret Matthews, MD, Senior Primary Care Practice; Veronica McMahon, Lutheran Hospice; and Stephanie Scarf, OTR/L, Palmetto Health.
