Event Description

Screening of the film, "The Return of the Violin", the incrediable story of the the formation of the Israeli Philharmonic from the horrors of the Holocaust. Followed by a live performance with Marina Lomazov on piano and Rebecca Hunter on Violin, both USC School of Music faculty and an interactive discussion led by three USC professors. This event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by JCC Jewish Cultural Arts Program, USC Jewish Studies Program, USC School of Music, SC Council on the Holocaust and The Columbia Holocaust Education Commission.
