Singer AJ Green performs and meets donors at Remington College Columbia Campus blood drive

Remington College Columbia Campus welcomes singer AJ Green for its 3 Lives blood drive on Tuesday, June 17. Green is the spokesperson for 3 Lives, a national effort to recruit minority blood donors and help supply local hospitals with blood.Return to event list.
Green has been battling sickle cell disease for most of his life and requires monthly blood transfusions. He will hold a short concert for blood donors at noon on the Remington College Columbia Campus.
3 Lives is held in partnership with America’s Blood Centers and the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America. The effort has resulted in more than 10,000 pints of blood collected since the program began – that means as many as 30,000 lives saved!
Please help the cause and donate blood on Tuesday, June 17 from 10 am to 3 pm.
While the primary goal of the 3 Lives campaign is to recruit minority donors, everyone is encouraged to donate blood. All the blood collected will be used to help people in the Columbia area.
