ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) — An autopsy shows a man died from a heart condition, not a shock from a Taser, after a high-speed chase involving law officers. That's the word from the Anderson County Coroner's Office. Coroner Greg Shore said 31-year-old Brad Evans took amphetamines less than an hour before he died. Shore said Evans had a history of heart problems. ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) — Tony Award-winning actress Phylicia Rashad will speak today to students at Claflin University in Orangeburg. The event is part of the South Carolina Democratic Party's 2013 College Tour. Organizers say Rashad and party chairman Jaime Harrison are talking to students about the importance of civic engagement and student involvement in politics. COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Gov. Nikki Haley wants a list of every building the state owns. Haley signed an executive order demanding the list from her Cabinet agencies by Dec. 15. She says she has wanted the information since she took office in 2011. COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Investigators say a fire at a Columbia strip mall that did $1 million of damage to several businesses was intentionally set. The Richland County Fire Marshal's office said the blaze was in the Spring Valley Commons Shopping Center northeast of Columbia.
