NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - North Charleston police are reviewing an officer's arrest of a 15-year-old girl at a mall last week.

The Post and Courier of Charleston reports (http://bit.ly/1gFIriX) the officer uses profanity while arresting the girl who was in a crowd waiting to buy new basketball shoes on Saturday.

A police report says officers had difficulty controlling the crowd of more than 250 people.

The teen was later charged with disorderly conduct, trespassing after notice and resisting arrest. Her name was not released because of her age.

Cellphone video shows the officer using profanity as he orders the girl to be still during the arrest.

Police Chief Eddie Driggers says the investigation is being continuing but the officer's language is not acceptable under department policy.

The officer is still on duty.
