It's been a long time in the making. Director of Sales for the Sheraton Convention Center, jennifer Boilling says they're hoping to help add to the business boom happening in the downtown corridor.
The historic building dating back to the 1920's, across the street from and owned by the Sheraton plans to use the former banks vault and library as social space, a roof top patio, balcony's a terrace and 11 thousand square feet in ball room space promises to please.
Residents say they're excited about the changes they see and believe the new look and feel will help not only bring people downtown, but will keep the coming back.
The building, housed along Washington Street is currently under renovation but is expected to open in early 2013.
