(WOLO) Camden, S.C., Sheriff Jim Matthews says they received a call to go to a Camden home along Wateree Boulevard around 1 Wednesday afternoon. Once they arrived authorities found the bodies of 47 year old Patricia Stone and her estranged husband, 47 year old Reginald Stone dead from apparent gun shot wounds.

Police say that's not all they found. A 9 millimeter firearm and shell casings at the scene of the crime and a letter the alleged shooter sent to his sister detailing his plans were also discovered by police.

One 30 year resident and neighbor says the area is pretty quiet and he is shocked that something like this would happen inside of a home he says was always peaceful.

Police say Patricia had a 14 year old daughter who was at school during the time of the shooting.

Still no word tonight on what may have sparked the incident.
