COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)-- While the clock is ticking to Christmas, you wouldn't know it to look at this years sales say consumer experts.
Retailers say crowds of shoppers hit the malls during this last weekend before Christmas but didn't seem to be in the spending spirit.
Bad News for retailers who were hoping to make up to 40 percent their Christmas sales during November and December.
Stores are now increasing last minute promotions, price cuts and expanding hours to entice shoppers to buy more items.
