Rallying for Solidarity
(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C, --
Three synagogues here in Columbia hosted the event to raise awareness and express their solidarity with the hundreds of victims killed and wounded during thousands of Hamas missiles that organizers say targeted women and children.
Those who took part said they wanted to show their support for peace. Including Mayor Steve Benjamin who spoke at Sunday's event.
One of the participants, Rabbi Jonathan Case of the Beth Shalom Synagogue tells ABC Columbia News this is one way to let those who risk their lives every day protecting their families and homes, they have not been forgotten.
"All we want is to live in a place of peace where no one will attack us, no one will hurt us ans there will not be another holocaust."
