USC/Clemson Battle for Blood
It's a tradition that's been pumping strong for the last 28 years. A friendly competition between Carolina and Clemson that is helping save lives, one needle at a time.
Monday night kicked off the start of the week long blood drive for the Red Cross and dozens of USC students turned out to do their part. Including one student who says the donation is personal.
Madison Cameron has family and friends who have been impacted by Super storm Sandy some of them injured. She says if she can't be there to help, this is one way she can give back to others who may be affected.
Cameron and members of her equestrian team have been making Garnet and Black bracelets. Proceeds will also go to benefit the Red Cross as they continue to aid those affected along the east coast.
You still have time to donate. Officials will be located in the Russell house Ballroom from 10am until 7pm through Friday.
if you are interested in purchasing a bracelet you can email the designer at Madison.firstname.lastname@example.org
