Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)--The Richland County Coroner has identified the victim involved in a fatal collision with a school bus.
Coroner Gary Watts says 85 year old Constance Myers, a passenger in the car, died of a neck fracture.
Myers Husband was driving the vehicle that collided with the school bus says Watts.

Columbia Police are still trying to figure out what caused the car to slam head on into a school bus traveling along Atlas Road Monday evening. Richland One School officials tell us the bus was carrying students from A.C. Moore Elementary and Crayton Middle home. That's when authorities say the bus was struck by a car heading in the opposite direction.

Police say the passenger who was riding in the car was killed. All five students who were riding on the bus and two transportation employees complained of neck and head pain and were transported to area hospitals as a precaution.

School Distric Spokeswoman, Karen York released this statement to ABC Columbia News saying " We are saddened by the loss of life in tonight's fatality. We are also concerned about the students and two transportation employees who were transported to the hospital as a result of the crash."

The identities of those involved in the crash have not yet been released, and no charges have been filed.
