(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., --

For nearly two hours board members met to go over unclear legislation to determine if they in fact have the right to remove executive director, Lillian McBride from her position. In a unanimous vote, the board agreed with the Attorney General's Opinion, that the wording of the legislation was too vague and the board should have the right to decide McBride's fate.

While board members did not take any action Thursday night to decide as to whether or not they would let her go after a shortage of voting machines, failed batteries, and long lines that forced some voters to walk out.

The Board's attorney Steve Hamm is in the process of reviewing precinct data and preparing a report he hopes may give more insight as to who is at fault for the problems many voters experienced on election day.

Hamm plans to release his initial report Tuesday.
