COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)
From Iowa to New Hampshire the primary momentum is gaining.

After the close race in the Iowa Caucuses, USC Dean of Journalism, Charles Bierbauer tells ABC Columbia news regardless of who the front runner is, they need to make sure they do as well, of not better than expectations in order to maintain their lead in the polls. "If you haven't got the momentum, which is necessary then the money becomes more difficult to raise."

Bierbauer and Senator Lindsey Graham both agree, that at the end of the day voters are looking for the most viable candidate who can unseat President Barak Obama. If poll numbers begin to shift, so could that candidates support.

The Candidates will head to New Hamphire Tuesday and then here in South Carolina January 21st.
