Dozens of retailers from a 3 block stretch of Main street opened their doors to show off what they have to offer. They also took the opportunity to welcome in some newcomers who haven't seen some of the changes coming to the area.

Besides the dancing, singing, art work, food and even shopping, the one thing many of the event goers say they noticed the most this year was the revitalization the area is undergoing.

Mark Plessinger, Owner of Frame of Mind came up with the idea for the event three years ago and says the street is finally beginning to shed it's bad reputation and becoming an area people can be proud of.

" you can kind of tell the health of a city by it's Main street, not that other places aren't important but Main street is one of the most important places you are going to see."
