Clemson Sends Out Alert About Man Making Threats

By Alicia Barnes

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) _ Clemson University is telling its students to watch out for a 23-year-old man who made threats to kill people on a college campus.

The alert sent out Thursday afternoon on the school's website asks anyone who sees Robert Ivester to call 911.

Campus police say Ivester threatened to kill himself and other people and go to a college campus and kill people there. The alert says the threat was not limited to just Clemson. Ivester was recently seen in Seneca, about 10 miles from campus.

Clemson officials didn't immediately return messages asking for more details on the threats.
