LSU RT Hurst, RG Williford out vs. South Carolina

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — LSU right tackle Alex Hurst and right guard Josh Williford have been ruled out of Saturday night's game against South Carolina, meaning the Tigers will have only two season-opening starters on the offensive line in uniform.

LSU spokesman Michael Bonnette says Hurst has been excused for undisclosed personal reasons, while Williford was unable to return after leaving last week's loss at Florida with a concussion.

The Tigers' top offensive lineman, left tackle Chris Faulk, went out for the season with a knee injury in early September.

Josh Dworaczyk is starting at left tackle, while freshman Vadal Alexander will start at right tackle and redshirt freshman Trai Turner will start at right guard.

They'll face a Gamecocks pass rush led by Jadeveon Clowney and Devin Taylor, who've combined for 10½ sacks.
