FLORENCE, S.C. (AP) — Florence County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a suspect in the shooting death of a man at a nightclub earlier this month.

Deputies arrested 35-year-old Erick Antwaine Simon of Lamar in connection with the shooting death of 27-year-old Junior Lee Johnson outside a Cartersville night club Oct. 12

Simon is charged with accessory before the fact of a felony. Investigators think Simon notified the shooter that Johnson was at the nightclub just before the shooting. Investigators say Simon left the club before the shooting.

Johnson was shot several times and was in the parking lot when deputies arrived.

Sheriff's Capt. Mike Nunn says more arrests are expected.

It was not clear if Simon has a lawyer.
