Deputies: 1 killed in shooting north of ColumbiaCOLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — One person is dead after a shooting at a home north of Columbia. Richland County Coroner Gary Watts says 22-year-old Brandon M. Jones died from gunshot wounds to the upper body. Deputies responded to a call just after 11 p.m. on Friday at a home north of Columbia. Deputy Curtis Wilson says gunmen had forced their way into the house and shot three people inside. Wilson says Jones was taken to a hospital, where he died during surgery. Authorities are still investigating but haven't made any arrests. |

Sad, sad....Columbia and surrounding areas have some very sneaky non-law abiding creatures residing amongst us....CRIME RIDDEN, the police seem to fall short.
