LEXINGTON, S.C. (AP) — Lexington County deputies say a 19-year-old man shot and killed a Lexington man through a window as the victim stood in his kitchen.

Investigators said Jeffrey Kight Jr. was arrested just before midnight Wednesday and charged with murder.

Authorities say Kight stood outside 56-year-old William Falls' home around 7 a.m. Wednesday and fired a shotgun through a window and into the kitchen, where Falls was standing.

Deputies say a surveillance camera Falls installed outside taped Kight standing outside the home an hour before the shooting and just before Falls was hit.

The coroner's office says Falls was shot once in the neck and bled to death.

Deputies say they haven't figured out why Kight shot Falls.

Kight is awaiting a bond hearing. It wasn't known if he had a lawyer.
