SC combat veterans hold remembrance ceremony

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — A group of South Carolina combat veterans is holding a special remembrance ceremony to honor those missing in action and those who gave their lives for their country.

The group is arranging a convoy from the Dorn Veterans Administration Medical Center to the Memorial Park in downtown Columbia on Friday morning.

The ceremony is being held at the park on the corner of Hampton and Gadsden Streets.

A reception is being held following the ceremony at the Reid Chapel AME Church on Gabriel Street.
