ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) — Investigators say the wife of a slain Branchville fire chief told them that the woman who stabbed her husband told her "now you're mine" after the killing.

The Times and Democrat of Orangeburg reports (http://bit.ly/P0uBMV ) a judge ruled Tuesday there is enough evidence for the murder case against say 47-year-old Ann Anderson to continue.

An investigator testified Tuesday that Anderson told authorities she accidentally stabbed Alan Oakley in December when she slipped off a bed while holding a knife.

But investigators say Oakley's wife told them she was in a relationship with Anderson. Authorities say Anderson, Melody Oakley and a third woman, Carrie Brown all planned the killing of the fire chief.

Oakley and Brown have also asked for preliminary hearings. All three women are charged with murder.
