271 Provisional Ballots Approved in Richland Co.

Columbia, SC (WOLO)-- Richland County election workers have until noon Friday to finish counting the more than 270 provisional votes that were approved earlier Friday morning.

More than 600 provisional ballots were rejected for reasons such as voters being registered in the wrong county or being convicted felons.

The results of the Richland County tally will now be sent to the state election commission to they have until 5pm Friday to certify the results.

Any candidate wishing to challenge those results has until November 21st to do so.
