COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — It's back to school time, and the City of Columbia is helping students get ready.

The city is hosting its back-to-school bash at Finlay Park on Saturday. Organizers say the free event for elementary, middle and high school students includes live music, health screenings and a health and fitness zone.

There are also book bag giveaways, fitness challenges and face painting and more.

The event is sponsored by BlueChoice HealthPlan Medicaid.
