American Legion Ride for Good Cause

By Rochelle Dean

More than a hundred American Legion Posts throughout the state took part in a fundraising ride. Hundreds hit the open road to raise money and awareness of the American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund.

The fundraiser helps give children financial assistance to attend school. The fund was created to give a little more help to kids who lost their parents in battle since 9/11.

The 6 hundred mile run started in Little River, traveled through the state and ended Sunday afternoon in Columbia.
