Back to School with Safety

(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C., --

Debbie Smith is the mother of 9 kids, and while she has her hands full on a daily basis, getting them all ready to head back to school makes her job even tougher.

Smith started shopping for back to school supplies at the end of last school year to avoid the last minute dash for book bags and lunch pails.
The one thing money can't buy, the South Carolina Department of Public Safety is making sure they don't forget to send them off with, safety.

The website features various topics from school safety zone, cross walks and even bus safety. Smith says "I think it's great, the more education they have the safer they will be. At this age they're invincible, they don't see the dangers."

Great interview with a great family of love! So glad Debbie could do the interview. She's a super mom with a lot of love to give her children!

Debbie Smith...Not Donna. Chrissy, not Christy. Debbie was actually Cayce's Mother of the Year a few years ago. :)
