LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) - Authorities in Lexington County say they know what caused an evacuation at a Walmart on Sunset Boulevard Tuesday afternoon.

A trailer parked in the back of the building was reportedly leaking a commercial strength sodium hypochlorite.

Clean-up contractors worked most of the night to clear the scene.

Walmart management says the store will not re-open until Wednesday morning at 7.
