Clerk Arrested for Stealing Lottery Tickets

Lexington Co., SC (WOLO)-- A Lexington County woman is accused of cashing in more than $2,000 worth of stolen lottery tickets.

Deputies say Jessica Peralta stole more than 200 lottery tickets from C-Mart convenience store on Two Notch Rd. where she was working as a clerk.

If convicted Peralta faces five years in prison and up to a $50,000 fine.
