Columbia, SC (WOLO)-- Deputies in Richland County are looking for suspects they say caused more than $100,000 in damage to area churches in theft and vandalism.

Investigators say the suspect or suspects are breaking into the churches' air conditioner units to steal the copper wiring.

According to deputies, nine churches have been targeted since January.

The churches include two in Hopkins, two in Columbia, and five in Eastover.

If you have any information on these incidents call the Richland County Sheriff's Department or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
