Crash At Gervais and Sumter leave two hospitalized
(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C,--
Columbia police believe a teenager running a red light led to a accident that left part of Gervais street blocked for about a half an hour Sunday evening. Columbia police say the teen and an 80 year old passenger were entrapped in the car after it flipped onto the roof of the vehicle. A third passenger believed to be around 10 was not injured. The driver and the passenger were transported to an area hospital for what officials say appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. Authorities say all three of the people inside the car were wearing their seat belts, they believe likely saved their lives. |
