Crews Respond to Midlands Apartment Complex Fire

FOREST ACRES, S.C. (WOLO) - The Columbia-Richland Fire Department responded to a fire at a Midlands apartment complex.

Officials say it's affecting those living in the 500 building of Magnolia Place off Forest Drive.

Upon arrival, firefighters reported heavy smoke and fire coming from a third-floor unit.

No injuries were reported.

It's not known how many people will be displaced.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
