South Carolina Highway Patrol says they are still looking for more information from the public concerning a deadly hit and run along Farrow road at the intersection of Interstate 77.

Officials say they're still unsure what time the accident happened, but say they have narrowed it down to sometime between Sunday night and 8 Monday morning. Authorities say they received a call from an eyewitness at a nearby business who discovered the body lying in a heavily wooded stretch of road.

Troopers say there was evidence left behind at the scene that leads them to believe whoever was responsible may have been driving either a 2006 or 2007 Crystler Town and Country or a 2006 or 2007 Dodge Mini-Van Blue in color.

Drivers who spoke with ABC Columbia news say the through fare is very busy but they're unsettled knowing someone did this and kept going.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact crimestoppers at 1888-CRIME-SC
