Driver Dies Following Single-Vehicle Crash on SC Highway

BARNWELL, S.C. (WOLO) - An accident involving a single vehicle near Barnwell takes the life of the driver.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the 1997 Chevrolet SUV was traveling on Highway 70 early this morning when it lost control and overturned, ejecting the unidentified victim.

He died a short time later at the hospital.

Troopers add the driver was not wearing his seat belt.
