COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) -- A morning fire has caused about $52,000 in damages.

The Columbia Fire Department reports that at 7 a.m., crews were sent to a house on Auburnleaf Drive when someone passing by the area called 911 after seeing smoke.

No one was hurt in the fire, but there was about $50,000 worth of damage to the house. Another home next door, which officials say is vacant, had about $1500 worth of damages outside of the house.

The cause of the fire has not yet been released.
