(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C. --

Cheers and chanting filled area sports bars as Gamecocks fans who couldn't be at Carolina Stadium, watched the baseball team get one step closer to a third National championship.

It was a moment of deja vu for many fans who say they had no doubt in their minds the team would go to bat and beyond in order to make it to Omaha.

Fans say while two back to back championship wins are amazing , three is even better. A huge portion of Gamecock Nation tell me they're already clearing their calendars in order to celebrate a predicted 3rd straight win.
