COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) - There are still unanswered questions on a grim anniversary for one Midlands family.

Thursday marked two months since Gabrielle Swainson disappeared from her Northeast Columbia home on August 18th.

A family acquaintance, Freddie Grant, was named a person of interest in the case. Police say Swainson's blood was found on duct tape near his home.

Grant has not officially been charged with her kidnapping, but he did plead not guilty to a federal weapons charge earlier this month.

Grant remains behind bars.
