Haley Signs Military Service Bill

By Rob Dew

Columbia, SC (WOLO)--Veterans in our state can now count their military training toward finding  job.

Tuesday morning Governor Haley signed the "Military Service Occupation, Education and Credentialing Act."

The bill allows for anyone who has honorably served in the U.S.
armed forces to translate their experience and training into educational credits.

A spokesperson for the governor's office says there is no fiscal impact related to this bill.

In other words, it won't cost the state anything.
