(WOLO) COLUMBIA, S.C.

A man is accused of breaking into a Spartanburg county home ends up getting more than he expected.

Sheriff's deputies say Dakota Hester kicked in a door to a home where his wife was staying.

Once inside Authorities allege he assaulted her before he was shot by Johnathan Wofford - the home owner.

Hester remains in critical condition.

Hester needs to be tied to a tree out in a forest....let the creepy crawlers/sliterers give him his due justice!
