LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) - Here's your chance to support some of our country's bravest.

The Lexington County Sheriff's Department is partnering with several local organizations to collect treats for soldiers. We're referring to bottled water, sports drinks and single-serving snacks.

Now through May 16th, they can be dropped off donated at any public school in School District One, School District Two and School District Five as well as the Lexington County North Region Service Center.

The items will then go to the USC at the Columbia Metropolitan Airport. It has a place where soldiers and their families spend time during layovers while they're traveling in and out of the area.
