COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) - Richland One School District is gaining national attention in the health community.

A.C. Moore Elementary School has received the Healthy Schools National Bronze Recognition Award.

It highlights schools that are leaders in promoting physical exercise and healthy living for both students and teachers.

It's a prestigious honor that only seven South Carolina schools have ever received.
