Longtime SLED Spokesman Dies

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)-- Hugh Munn, the former respected Chief Spokesperson for the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, for nearly 30 years, has died.

Munn served in the spokesperson role for 26 years before leaving to teach Mass Communication and Journalism.

Munn is survived by his wife Linda, and their daughters Melissa and Sarah.

A private burial will be held, but the public may attend a service at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at New Heights Church.
