Search Continues for Richland Co. Missing Teen

COLUMBIA, S.C.(WOLO)-- Authorities say 16 year old Mariah Carrion has not been seen since last week when her father reported her missing.

Officials say she was last seen at her Pine Grove Road home in Blythewood.
Carrion’s father reported her missing on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 when he retuned home from work and found a letter stating that she was leaving.

Sheriff Leon Lott stated that Carrions’ father has full custody; Sheriff Leon Lott stated that Mariah Jade Carrion (16 years of age) has serious medical conditions that place her at risk and we are hoping that someone in the community can assist us in locating her.

Sheriff Leon Lott stated that Carrion is a white female, 5’ 5” tall, 120 pounds, brown hair, and hazel eyes, but unfortunately there is no description of what clothing she was last seen wearing.
