COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) - A popular frosty activity in Downtown Columbia has come to an end.

It was the last night to experience Main Street Ice.

We spoke with some local residents who were taking one last spin around the temporary skating rink, and they say they were not ready to let go of the fun just yet.

Since opening last Thanksgiving, almost 14,000 people have visited.

Officials say that has really helped out surrounding businesses
