Man Accused of Firing at Police Arrested

(WOLO) COLUMBIA,S.C.

More violence erupts in five points. Authorities say a Columbia Police Officer was shot at early this morning in the two thousand block of Greene street in the popular entertainment district.

Authorities say 19 year old Shiquan Cwiklinski was identified as the suspected shooter by surveillance footage recorded in the area.

Officials say nearly 20 Officers were patrolling the area at the time of the incident and responded immediately. No one was injured.

Cwiklinski was arrested around 10 pm Saturday evening.

CURFEW.....owners of businesses in the popular entertainment district should be required to PAY for SECURITY!!!!!!!!! Absolutely absurd for any establishment that offers alcohol be open after 9PM...Patrons that frequent such joints should be home.
