RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) - An arrest has been made in the shooting death of a pregnant woman whose body was set on fire.

Richland County deputies have charged Tristan Gist with murder and death of a child in utero.

They say Gist shot 22-year-old Dierra Fisher, then drove her body to Screaming Eagle Road Extension and set it on fire.

Coroner Gary Watts tentatively released the name of victim, pending a positive ID from medical records. He says she was 21 weeks pregnant.

The body was discovered last Thursday by firefighters who were responding to a brush fire.
