Massive Fire at Recycling Plant

Cayce, SC (WOLO)-- Firefighters in West Columbia are battling a huge fire in Cayce.

More than 30 Firefighters from the Cayce, West Columbia, and Lexington Fire Departments are working to contain a fire at the World Wide Recycling plant on Foreman St. in Cayce.

The cause of the fire has not yet been announced.
Several streets near the recycling plant have been blocked off.
Officials say 12th street and Foreman street are closed to traffic.

At this point, there have been no injuries say officials.
The Department of Health is on the scene monitoring air quality to determine if further precautions need to be taken in the area.
